And the fun begins... part 2

Well it's been a while since we've done much in the yard. Mostly because it's been too darn hot!
We learned something pretty cool the last time we rented a bobcat. If you rent it over a long weekend, you get to keep it longer and still pay the price of one day! That's how we did it over the 4th of July so we decided to do it again for Labor Day weekend.
The people behind us got the back fence put up this morning. It looks so good! I am so happy to have it up for both privacy reasons and for the fact that it finally looks like we have a yard! YEAH! And what a big yard it is. I didn't realize just how big it is until be saw the lenght of the fence.
We are getting our sprinkler system in within the next week or two and the grass comes shortly after that. HOORAY! Of couse we won't get to enjoy it much this year, but I keep thinking about how nice it will be next spring. I'm actuallylooking forward to mowing it! We probably won't do much as far as trees and flowers yet, but soon enough.
