Good bye-so sad.

Today is my last full day with my 4runner. I know, that sounds so stupid, but I am really sad about it.
I got it 3 years ago this month on a lease. 3 years seemed like so long, and honestly I didn't know that I would want it for that long. I wasn't all that excited about it when we bought it. I didn't want the payment, and I wasn't so sure I even liked it. But now, I have grown to love it and since I paid the lease off a little early, I've been able to really enjoy it more!
When I first got it, Zack was 6 and just finishing up Kindergarten. Alixx was finishing up 4th grade. Life was so simple back then! Times sure have changed and life has passed by so fast.
We've had some great times in that vehicle and I sure will miss it!
So long!

I just don't know

What to do? What to do? What to do???

I JUST DON'T KNOW!

Life

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Easter 2009

Easter weekend-Kener style!

What a great weekend!

We spent the weekend down in Sandy spending time with family and friends. My parents were in Vegas for the weekend, so we were able to stay at their house.

Saturday morning we met up with Grandma K. and few of the cousins and aunts for an Egg Hunt at Hollywood Connection. After that it was on to Lone Peak Park for another hunt!

Later that afternoon we met up again with everyone at Grandma's to dye the eggs.
The kids had a great time and once the eggs were finished, Alixx and Jake decided to use up the leftover egg dye to tie-dye underwear. It was great!

Easter Sunday began with the traditional finding of the eggs the Bunny hid, then on to the Easter baskets. Fun stuff.

Once we had our sugar rush and nap, it was on to Church.
It was fun to visit our old Ward. It's always great to see our dear friends, especially for the Holidays.

My parents returned from their trip by the time we got home, so we got to spend time with them and hear about their trip before we were off to Grandma Kener's for dinner and yet another egg hunt!

Dinner was delicious and the company was great. The kids had a wonderful time playing and finding eggs with their many, many cousins.
Zack was lucky enough to find the Golden Egg filled with money. YAY!

We ended the day with a short visit with my grandma and a long drive home.

I am exhausted today and happy we still have today to rest. I definitely need it!
